The place is right on the water. A bit tricky to drive to but the food is local and fresh and tasty to boot.

Seriously tucked away and hidden away. It is a jewel. Great staff great decor and ambience. Great menu and drinks. Prices are a tad bit high. Great beach vibe. Add a burger and fries or California burrito or tacos and I'd always go here. Seriously the best and great for dates.

Ambience, customer service, food, pet friendliness are all beyond compare! A place you will not feel pressured with time. Reservations only.

Until get to the store and parking lot,I think there has to wonder?! And here, I have a (^ ^) is a shop with a very atmosphere. We asked at lunch alone, but I please be very polite also the description of the dishes. Also while waiting I heard a conversation with other customers, but the clerk person description was unique and wonderful. Meals can be enjoyed in even the eyes, taste it was delicious. Also I would like to come say night.

Definitely worth the trip - the ambiance is laidback and the view is peaceful. Interesting preparations of the food, which results in a unique beachside Western/Japanese fusion. Tried the local mushroom and seaweed pizza and would recommend it. Interestingly enough, the salsa they used for the seasonal seafood carpaccio was spot on. Hard to find decent fresh salsa in Asia!

Just amazing. Hard to find such a laid back atmosphere in Japan, with perfect service and awesome food and drink. Can't recommend it enough !

Eclectic beach food, bar & coffee

Great place for lunch and dinner. Make sure to check the website for the hours before going because it's not always typical hours. Their food is great and staff is friendly. You can sit inside or outside with a table in the sand. They have free parking and a sweet Rottweiler that hangs out inside.

Love this place. Chill ambience and delicious, simple foods. Lots of seating with a beautiful view of the bay. A few parking spots, but a bigger paid parking nearby. Fairly child friendly.

You can eat outside in the sand or inside. Good fresh food. Hawaiian flare and ice cream. You can even bring your dog.

Great sashimi. Drinks were awesome. Good atmosphere. Waiting line is sometimes look it looks like. Well worth the wait.

Hidden gem of yokosuka!

Wow! The outside looked shabby and we weren't sure but once we got in it was such a cool vibe and the food was other-wordly! Seriously had the best soup I've ever had here. I wanted more soup for dessert. Normally you eat because you're hungry. Here you can eat as an experience for your taste buds. Chipotle chicken was fantastic. Waitress speaks English very well which was nice as well. Nothing but good things to say!

I came to the store without reservation on holiday without knowing such a popular shop. I was prepared to wait for one hour, but I am grateful that I had put it in between the reservations.The number of customers varied from families to couples and girls' associations. There were many local and local cars.Lunch includes sauteed tuna, chicken, and curry, all of which are full of vegetables.It's a multi-national dish that I wonder if it's a perfect Japanese style restaurant.You can order à la carte at lunch, so it's perfect for lunch.The shop was very polite with no feeling from above, which is often found in popular shops.I would like to make a reservation next time and revisit by train and bus so that I can drink ♪

Location is great.I went a few times by the recommendation of an acquaintance's REGEE artist, but the owner's customer service attitude is terrible.Did I do something? When I visited Hashimizu Shrine, I stopped by to eat something delicious. Where is the store? I drove along a narrow road and arrived in front of the store.Arrived before 2 PM on Sunday without reservation.I was surprised to wait for one hour like a popular shop, but it was good to be able to visit the shrine during the waiting time.The gap between the exterior and the interior of the building was wonderful, and it seemed that we could eat with a dog on the terrace.The food was delicious.Thank you for the meal.

A little out of the way for the average tourist to find, but going with a local this venue was really enjoyable to visit. Beachy laid back vibe and yummy food to enjoy with a cold beer.

Feels more like Thailand than Japan. Super laid back beach vibe. Some of the staff speaks English, and the menu has English names for everything. Food itself is local and fresh, but not so tasty

A super-famous store that was built by renovating a seaside house, but is often featured on TV and other places.It's a great shop where you can enjoy not only seafood caught nearby, but also pizzas (some of which are simmered in seaweed tsukudani!) And even French.It's filled with the feeling that you'll have fun, you can also barbecue and shellfish (I haven't been there), and you can walk around while waiting and you'll only get a nice view.Especially the sunset in early summer is exceptional.

Amazing food, great laid back beachy vibe. The owner is into art, so there is fun artwork on the walls. Kid and dog friendly. But the food, man. I've been a few times and the food is outstanding each time. I've gotten pizza, different salads, sautéed fish and tuna sashimi. All have been delicious. One kinda downside is the parking; they have a small dirt lot and it fills up quickly (at least on weekends). But we come early and have gotten a spot each time.

If the weather is fine and there is no wind, this is already spring.The terrace is not open yet, but it's nice to take a walk before and after a meal.You can buy freshly harvested seaweed cultured here for 500g300yen.

I visited a lot when Kotaro, a large dog, was alive. It was also when fish was boiled. I think it was from when it wasn't that popular. However, rice was originally not good because it smelled like a rice cooker, but I thought it was better because the menu was improved and it took more than 30 minutes to provide food. Was far away. I'm sorry but I think I should go there.

The location of the restaurant is very good and overlooking the sea especially the evening is very romantic. The food is delicious. The staff are very polite and friendly.

The name of the restaurant “Kaneyo Shokudo” cannot be imagined. I am convinced that the store was renovated from the fisherman's hut.When we went for lunch on weekdays, it was full of feelings like a retreat for adults. Maybe a bit pricey, but was a great place for our anniversary!You would never imagine finding a restaurant like this where it’s located... we had some trouble looking for it by car the first time.We were recommended this place by a few of our friends and fully enjoyed our time there, sitting pretty much in the sand in August!The three-legged dog at the door is adorable too :)
